No, this is not a post about curling.  But it would be easy to assume that by the title.

Curling rivalry is now the least of our worries.  As Canada is now occupying Denmark!  Bill Graham, Canada's foreign minister landed on Hans Island.  A year ago or so, the Danes sent a ship there and left a Danish flag and Graham left a Canadian Inuit stone carving.  Touche, I say.

I had the pleasure of living in Denmark for almost 6 months. It is a great place to live.  But many Canadians know very little about Denmark.  Perhaps people here think, hey we can take these guys on.  But Denmark is an interesting place.

For example, they have a Royal military regiment that guards their palaces.  The regiment has hearts carved into its sentry shelter.    Like this:

But they have naval ships that look like this:

Can we take them?

Last night I met up with some old work friends including Calum and the Paranoid V&V guy (PV&VG).  The PV&VG was wearing a livesquidinabox.com t-shirt.

If you are a house bound squid lover, check it out.  It is probably one of the best mockery of the Internet boom there is.  The only thing that would have been better is if they had been picked up by F@cked Companies as though they were real...

where is my t-shirt?  The T. really wants one to wear to parties.  He needs an addition to his "What do you want the Internet to be?" Nortel t-shirt.

Check out this 'blog-based' radio program - Open Source.  The idea is pretty interesting.

CBS announced that they would include blogs in their news prepartion in an effort to be more transparent.  I suspect we will see more media outlets move towards using blogs.  I bet the CBC will use them for commenting on shows within 1 year.

What the T. is working on.  Tiny soldering.  Soldering is the future.
The T., who took the excellent Tomato picture by the way, pointed out that tomatoes was spelled incorrectly.

Thanks to Dan Quayle I always spell the plural of tomato and potato incorrectly.  We all got a good laugh at his mistake at the time, but now I am always paranoid that I am going to make the same mistake.   I can never remember if he told the kid to erase the 'e' or add an 'e'.  I wish there was a clever limerick to remember.

Bob says I should make salsa with the Tomatos.
